Here are the By-laws for each area we service. Please note that if a permit is needed to remove a tree on your property, it is the homeowner’s responsibility to apply and retain a permit. We can help you navigate this process.

    There are currently no permits needed to remove a tree in Georgetown and Acton. We prepared all the information you need.

    To remove a tree on your property in Mississauga, you need a permit if you plan to remove three or more trees with a 15 cm (or more) diameter per calendar year. Find out more and learn how to apply for a permit.

    The town of Milton does not require a permit to remove a tree, but they recommend that you seek the advice of an Arborist and ensure that the tree is fully on your property. Please see their website for more information.

    Caledon

    Tree removal for personal use is allowed in Caledon for up to 20 trees per year, and to remove hazardous trees. However, permits are required for removing or harvesting trees from woodlands on private property.
